Hey everyone,
I'm trying to mesh a multiRegion heat sink, solid and fluid, with chevron fins applied to the flow pattern. My problem is with meshing corners (see chevronDoubleMesh.jpg and chevronZoom.jpg) and edges (doubleMesh.jpg and entireMesh.jpg) For the solid region (red surface in chevronDoubleMesh), the entire surface is supposed to be a fluid_to_solid Region, while for the fluid region (not visible in picture), this is solid_to_fluid. As you can see in chevronZoom.jpg, this problem occurs at several fins, but not all. It I've tried changing most parameters in castellatedMeshControls and snapControls, as well as increasing the number of elements in the blockMeshDict. Below you will find my snappyHexMeshDict of the chevron fins case. Can anyone help me fix this? snappyHexMeshDict.txt |
