Hi everyone!

I am using snappyHexMesh without layers, OpenFOAM version 5.0 (but works the same with OF2.4.0). I've checked the mesh with CheckMesh and all seems to be OK. Even I've simulated a flux without errors. But inspecting the mesh with paraview, I realised that there are difference between the decomposition of internalMesh, and the boundary patch mesh.

In the internalMesh there are triangles on faces (because the cell is tetrahedrical), but in the symmetry plane boundary mesh there are just squares on that zone. (is highlighted in the pngs attached). Beyond that, the internal mesh shows that there are two cells on that zone, but the cell list of boundary patch (I've used the spreadsheet inspector as you can see) shows only one cell.

My question is:
1. żIs Paraview the problem? Maybe I have not to trust on visualization of Boundary patch but on Internal mesh. But I compared the number of cells from boundary file:
lateral_1
{
type symmetryPlane;
inGroups 1(symmetryPlane);
nFaces 4026;
startFace 866311;
}

and Paraview shows a list from 0 to 4025, which make me think that paraView is already reading well the list of patch faces.

2. żIs SnappyHexMesh the problem? I'm thinking that maybe the only face on boundary patch are linked to two cells con internal mesh, and, It could generate errors in the results after simulation.
The images attached shows big cells with strange shape, but I refined the size of cells and made the cells more squared, but the problem remains.

I'd be very glad if you can help me to discover what's the problem or give me another advice to avoid that. Thanks in advance
