Hi everyone,
I'm running several simulations with multi-element airfoil in OpenFoam. The mesh is done with snappyhexmesh. After some initial tests, I was able to capture well the CL (the drag was still too high). But when I started solving something with a slat then I get a high underestimation of the CL. My airfoil is very similar to a FI156 airfoil (or even a 30P30N airfoil) but I get always a low CL. Does anyone have experience with generating a mesh of a slat-base-flap airfoil configuration? Best, Andrea |

a more specific question may further help to alleviate your pain, i presume.
