Hi,
I'm new on OpenFOAM and i'm using it on windows (BluCFD) I'm trying to find resistance of a ship, The meshes generated are not looking satisfying to me, I tried to change the controls in meshqualitydict & snappyhexmesh but I found no improvement. any help will be appreciated. here is my meshcontrol dict. please let me know if you need anything else /*--------------------------------*- C++ -*----------------------------------*\ | ========= | | | \\ / F ield | OpenFOAM: The Open Source CFD Toolbox | | \\ / O peration | Version: 5 | | \\ / A nd | Web: www.OpenFOAM.org | | \\/ M anipulation | | \*---------------------------------------------------------------------------*/ FoamFile { version 2.0; format ascii; class dictionary; location "system"; object meshQualityDict; } // * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * // //- Maximum non-orthogonality allowed.
