Hello Friends
After making the 3d model of a seawall in AutoCad I imported the STL file in ascii format and placed it in my trisurface directory. But i am not able to mesh it using snappyhex mesh. My model is too big and it is outside my domain. I try to scale it down but it only scales down in paraview and not actually. I am not able to mesh my seawall. Basically, in addition to the dam break problem i am just trying to place a seawall in front of the structure. How can i do that? |

Hi Matru,
if you want to edit your STL file take a look at OpenFOAM's surfaceTransformPoints utility. For additional resources, olaFlow ( https://github.com/phicau/olaFlow ) includes a tutorial in which a caisson is removed from the mesh with snappyHexMesh. The tutorial is called breakwater. Best, Pablo |
