Dear Master Foamers,
Please, I need some help to understand and solve the problems with my pipe inlet mesh. First I thought that the problem was my mesh resolution in SHM, but after a long attempt of settings, I couldn't figure out what was going on even with a high-resolution SHM mesh. I set a fixed input velocity on two inlets and the simulation runs very well in Salome's hexahedral mesh. But when I tried to run SHM mesh I got bad results on the inlet face. See attached pictures. I also tried to change my *.stl resolution and files. But nothing happens. My sequence: - blockMesh - surfaceFeatureExtract - decomposePar - run snappyHexMesh -parallel - reconstructParMesh ..... Pictures: 1- SnappyHexMesh error (Pressure) 2 - " 3 - Salome's Mesh results (Pressure) 4 - *.stl file inlet. Thanks. |
