Dear Foamers,
I tried to run the Sandia Flame D Tutorials in windows subsystem for Linux. I have Linux Ubuntu 18.0 LTS and OpenFOAM6, the problem is I can run the blockMesh utility with no error, and checkMech as well. However, I realised the input format of polyMesh files are odd (please see attached pictures). and therefore, the paraview could not open foam file. any help on this would be great. Best |

quick respond from myself,
This is a binary file format problem between Linux and windows. Just change the file format in controlDictionaty from binary to ascii and you would not get this problem. |
