I post for the first time.
I'm currently researching around the Ahmed Body; a simplified model of a car. I cut the grid, but I'm struggling without having a layer in the vicinity of the body. I thinking about various parameters, but I would appreciate if you could give me a professor because I don't know the cause and solution. Attach blockMeshDict, snappyHexMeshDict, a snappyHexMesh log, an image of calculation area and an image of a part without the layer. and, I put the STL file of Ahmed body at the following URL https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...42?usp=sharing Regards, |

Hi Masatoshi,
Increasing the featureAngle in addLayersControls over 90 may solve your problem. With the iglooWithFridges tutorial, a featureAngle of 120 creates layers around the cylinder corner. sn |
