I'm simulating flow around a 2D cylinder using mesh made by Gmsh. Currently I'm using stretching grid in the radial direction. I'm happy with the mesh resolution in the near wake but would like to refine far wake so that it looks like the figure blow.
It is possible to specify a region in the wake and refine only this region by snappyHexMesh? |

Hi!
You can use the refineMesh utility with directional refinement. But it will refine only the hex cells. I think all refinement method will affect only the hex cells in OF. |
