Hello,
I am trying to mesh with an interface between two blocks having different mesh sizes. I learned to use mergePatchPairs for joining them, but the cells created at the interface are not that clean, and the whole point of using blockMesh is lost. Is there any method of using mergePatchPairs after running blockMesh? So that I could refine the coarser cells at the interface (by refineHexMesh), and then later use mergePatchPairs? Thanks, Magar Selection_157.png Selection_158.png |

Hi,
What you could do is to mesh the two blocks separately and then merge & stitch them using mergeMeshes and stitchMesh. Not sure if that is a solution you are looking for. Hope this helps. Cheers, Antimony |

This might work.
