hi all,



My cylinder which is exported using stl mesh,



however it appeared as a square,


I was wondering if is it because of my z-axis mesh in my blockmesh is defined as 1 mesh?


Sorry all am pretty new to snappyhexmesh


any help would be appreciated

correction my cylinder didnt even appear after I wrote the snappyHexMesh -overwrite


i did check my cylinder stl mesh seperately as attached in jpg format



1) surfaceFeatureExtract .. (as attached)


2) blockMesh (as attached)


3) snappyHexMesh -overwrite (as attached)


now when i open the paraFoam, I couldnt even see the cylinder!


I tried to mimic the motorBike tutorial, and going thru step by step but was futile,



Any help would be greatly appreciated
