Hi all,
Based on the snappyMultiRegionHeater example, I am meshing a similar case with 3 domains using snappyHexMesh. I generated the STL files from ImageJ (as shown in the first image). snappyHexMesh refines the mesh at the interfaces (as shown in the second image) but splitMeshRegions -cellZones -overwrite does not separate the three regions (as shown in the third image). When I checked the constant/polyMesh/cellZones after snappyHexMesh, one of the regions had only 1 element which was not expected, I am not sure why. Any ideas? Your help would be heartfully appreciated. Cheers, Sarah |
