SHM not snapping on simple case

Hello
I am trying to simulate a channel with cylindrical pins. My solution was to model the pins using searchableCylinder defined geometry. The castellated mesh works well. However, when it comes to the snapping phase, SHM does not snap cells on the surface of the pins. Do you have any idea where the problem might come from ? Thanks in advance ! |

I haven't actually tried using either of your files with blockMesh or snappyHexMesh, but I noticed one thing right off the bat that may be an issue.
The point you picked (or perhaps forgot to pick...) for the locationInMesh point is on the edge of your domain instead of inside it as it should be since the z value of the point is 0, which is the same as your minimum z value in the blockMeshDict file you posted. Make sure the point you do pick is within your min/max xyz values and also not inside one of the "pins" you are trying to create and then try again. |

Thanks for the answer aow. I tried to move it within the domain but there hasn't been any change (it has to be outside of the pins as I am trying to get rid of them)
