Dear Foarmers

I have a problem that I want to create a box inside my domain, but I do not know how to do that.

The reason I want to do that is that I need a patch inside domain(not on boundary) to put my burner on, but createPatch could only used on boundary faces. So I think I need to create a small box first and create patch on the boundary of this box.

I have try toposet and setset but I think none of them could help me to create a patch.

Is there any advices please?

Thank you in advance!

mollyli, you can first create cellSet using surfaceToCell or boxToCell method. Do you really need patch? If you want to assign values, you can do it through cellset.
