Hi all
I'm getting started with OpenFOAM simulation and as a test project i tried to simulate the flow through a nozzle. Realistic/Correct results are not necessarily my main priority at the moment, but i'd like to get a simulation going at least. This project will be the base for other similar projects, so I'd like to get the method down. I did the following: 1)Create model ind 3D CAD 2)Export STL with multiple regions 3)SnappyHexMesh the STL 4)copy an icoFoam tutorial and adapt it to my problem 5)try to simulate -> Fail after just a few steps can someone look at my files and tell me where im going wrong? I've varied input velocity, as well as timestep size and still no success, so im assuming the error is deeper, for example in my mesh, but i don't know what to do. Regards Claude PS. My file (2MB) exceeds the forum limit, so i've just uploaded a few of the files i find important. let me know if somethings missing |

Hi, could you provide a log file of your simulation ?
