[blockMesh] blockMesh runs Indefinitely

Update[Solved]: I found out that the issue was completely unrelated to the OpenFOAM software. I did not request enough memory from the remote cluster system I was operating in. Therefore, the system terminated my simulation when I refined the mesh as it requires a higher memory.

Hi there, sorry if this is a basic question. I am unable to find a thread that could help me with the following issue.

My blockMesh runs indefinitely when I try to refine my mesh given in the image below.

The blockMeshDict file is the file that is performing fine.
blockMeshDict.txt

The blockMeshDict_err file is the refined mesh that runs indefinitely when i increased the number meshes in the y and z direction.

Could someone advise me on this matter please?

Hello walakaka!

I tried your blockMeshDict using the tutorial cavity and replacing the blockMeshDict with yours.

It works and generates the Mesh fine!

The Mesh has exactly 1400000 cells.

Really much

Do your PC have sufficent Memory?

Maybe it is Hardware problem?
