Hello everyone,
I know this is a very common problem but I haven't found a solution yet. I have a geometry with some sharp edges that will definitely produce skewed cells. What can I do to make a good mesh? It's a rather simple pump impeller that's connected to volute with ACMI. I can't change the geometry because that would mean I'm running a case of a different thing... See the troublesome spots in attachment. Thanks! |

*Ahem*...
Does anyone have any experience with that? How does one mesh an impeller? Do thin and long boundary layer cells help? If I was meshing this manually (with a tool I do not know yet ), I would just extrude boundary layers until they all met in the middle. |
