Hello,
I am kind of new using OpenFOAM. In OpenFOAM extend (V 4.0) there is a tutorial called pitchingPlate which uses IBM solver. The thing is that the dynamicMeshDict for the plate is for forced motion to do the rotating Oscillation (so you set its amplitude and period) and I am willing to change it to be free to move with the fluid flow until a fixed angle (maybe using damping to try to return to its original position too). The forced motion uses the immersedBoundarySolidBodyMotionFvMesh and I assume I have to use the dynamicMotionSolverFvMesh for free induced motion but then I cannot relate it to my .ftr file. Any ideas? |
