Hello Guys,
I have to generate a stl file for sHM. I have xyz coordinates for the model. Right now I wrote a code in gmsh to generate a geo file and then convert that into stl file. But that code generates a whole solid stl file. And that has a huge size which is unnecessary for me since it is only used for snapping the profile in sHM and I am going to use the stl file in sHM to do an external flow analysis. A simple thin sheet like extrusion will be enough for my simulation, which will also save a lot of file size. Is there a way to do that? Thanks Vicky |

does the searchableBox work for your case? edit: *not a stl, but you can define walls with 'user defined regions' |

Hi Kal,
I know the feature that you mentioned. My geometry is complex therefore i need the stl file. Anyway thanks Vicky |
