Converting from unv format shows error

I am new to linux as well as openfoam. using lubuntu 16.04 and openfoam 3.0.1. created a simple pipe in freecad. created inlet,outlet,wall groups and meshed in salome and exported the mesh in unv format. Now when i type the command ideasUnvToFoam i get this error
Sorting boundary faces according to group (patch) 0: inlet is #0 Foam::error:: printStack(Foam::Ostream&) at ??:? #1 Foam::sigSegv::sigHandler(int) at ??:? #2 ? in "/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6" #3 ? at ??:? #4 __libc_start_main in "/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6" #5 ? at ??:?
