Dear Foamers
I am a confused about a very basic question, which you can give me some suggestion from your experience. I am using blockMesh and if I want to have a symmetric kind of graded mesh, like finer at the entry and exit of the block (can be symmetric) and coarser in the middle, how can I do this with a single block without defining multiple blocks?
I hope I could explain my question correctly to you. It might be very easy, but not clicking me right now.
PLEASE help me if anyone did this before.

Does the blockMeshDoubleGrading utility serve this purpose and is it compatible with OF version 2.3.1?? It can just double the mesh size in the middle, cant make 3 times or 4 times, right?
Also can anyone tell me the steps to add this in openFOAM?

Hi Sahmed,

I'm facing similar case these days. Have you checked this?:

http://cfd.direct/openfoam/user-guide/blockmesh/

Chapter 5.3.1.4 Multi-grading of a block.

I think you can save lots of time with it.

Regards
