Hello everyone. I am working on a domain which can be seen in the attached JPG file. There are two regions in my domain; as void and solid regions.
I am beginner level OpenFOAM user. I found a tutorial on meshing similar to my problem on the web page of one of the lab at Stanford University. Following their tutorial I am able to mesh fluid region by using blockMesh and snappyHexMesh but I need mesh on solid region too. How can I do that? What I need to do is, mesh both solid and fluid regions and name the mesh at the solid regions something like "Wall" so I can apply boundary condition on it. Till now, I did something similar to this: I have only one STL file for porous structure. I add bounding box to it and the regions outside of LocationInMesh point are named as FixedWall and left without meshing. Now, I need to mesh this region too and name it as fixedWall. Thank you so much. Final result that I want to obtain: Last edited by cfdsolver1; June 23, 2016 at 13:17. |
