sHM: inconsistent results

Hello everyone,
I am trying to generate a mesh around the wing shown in the attachment with snappyHexMesh. wing.PNG Somehow the mesh around the inner wing looks much better than that around the outer wing. inner_wing.jpg wing_tip.jpg Somehow the layer addition does not work properly at the outer wing. And of course I also get the problem with the trailing edge. My question is: does anyone have a clue on how to understand this difference in behaviour between the outer and inner wing? The snapping seems to work rather well for my inexperienced eyes, but there is definitely something wrong with the layer addition. Are you sure, that you are not only seeing artifacts by paraview? (option Decompose polyhedra option). See:
