Dear all,

I might propose something already discussed in the forum, but couldn't find anything suitable to my problem.

I would ask some suggestion about a way to start a new simulation from a previous one (so from a latest time), but changing the mesh (and the entire case) in OpenFoam.

My mesh is ready in ICEM, and I wouldn't use the refine Mesh utilities of OpenFOAM as I need to change the mesh entirely (the mesh is static) to correct yplus value (LES).
I'm running in parallel also with Ansys Cfx, and it is well possible to switch to a new mesh within an available solution.

Thank you for any suggestion!!!
Giulio

Have you looked at mapFields? This should allow you to do what you want so long as you mesh is similar.
