Hi guys,

I want to generate a Region at a boundary tu use the filmModel. The tutorial cylinder generates a one cell thick region by extrudeToRegionMesh which points into the domain.

OF v2.4.0:
I set up a simple case with a sphere in the center of the domain and fluid around. I use topoSet to select the boundary faces and generate a faceZone. This faceZone is handed to extrudeToRegionMesh to generate the region. This basically works, but the region points into the sphere - so out of the domain. I tried to use "flip true" in the topoSet, but this did not help. I also switched manually the normal in constant/polyMesh/faceZone. This generates the region in the domain, but then, the mapping of the two regions does not happen.

So I am stuck here, does anyone had the same experience and an idea for a solution?

Thanks
Nicklas
