I am trying to place a floating box (.stl file) into a larger box (blockMesh file) using snappyHexMesh.
The problem is that the floating box cuts through the entire blockMesh, creating a rectangular hole in the mesh rather than a floating box. The dimensions of the blockMesh are x=0:8.5 , y=-1:1 , z= 0:0.9 and the dimensions of the floating box are x=4:5 , y=0:0.4 , z= 0.2:0.5 so the floating box should be within the confines of the original mesh Thanks in advance for any suggestions and help! |
