SHM Problems with snapping and layers

Dear Foamers,
I am struggling to get continuous layers on the mesh in the attached file. (The only geometry is 'fixed_surroundings.stl') I am using OF 3.01 As you can see from a horizontal and vertical section the layers are not continuous. I have also noticed that if I keep my refinements for features and surfaces below 6 then SHM does not snap to the top-left vertical edge. The series of commands that I run is the following: Code:
foamCleanPolyMesh blockMesh surfaceFeatureExtract decomposePar mpirun -n 2 snappyHexMesh -parallel reconstructParMesh foamToVTK Any idea? |
