Hi all,
I work on case with multi regions. Since the problem involves radiation (fvDOM model), I used the symmetry patch to simplify my geometry and improve the simulation times. But I not achieve the results I expected. So to try understand the problem I want simulate all geometry instead of the symmetry version. To do that I used the the mirrorMesh application included on OF 2.3.0. The mesh also need to be axisymmetric and I used the third party application makeAxialMesh to convert it. So far so good, my probleme is when I run the simulation, the solver (chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam) only run on the original mesh, and nothing happen on the mirror mesh. If I open on Paraview I can see the mesh as one, but the results are only showed and calculated on the original mesh. Someone can help me, or a clue... Thanks in advance for yuor time Ps: English is not my mother language, so sory for some mistake in above message Cheers Joćo Coelho Last edited by jlbbcoelho; February 24, 2016 at 09:23. |
