I've been told recently about how polyhedral meshes are often used in automotive cfd applications; also, I know that with netgen, salome, or enGrid that I can make an unordered mesh. But is there anyway to do that with native OpenFOAM utilities? And, as in the title, how do these alternative mesh geometries effect the simulation?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and responses. |
