Hi all,
I am very new to OpenFOAM, so forgive me if my question seems trivial. I would like to mesh no convex domain (such as lake or lagoon), reading a list of contour points and generating blockMeshDick file with a script. I first tried to mesh an example no convex domain, a cardioid, using spline. Even if the sides of my mesh are the expected ones, the top and bottom faces seem to be too large near the singular points and not fit the sides. I attached two screen shot of the mesh and my generating blockMeshDict. If someone could help, it would be great. Thanks you |

Quick answer: This can't be done with a single block. You will have to divide the block in two, where each block does one side of the shape. In other words, you'll be using each block to define a C shape
