Hi, Foamers,

Is there anyway to override the symmetryPlane boundary condition?

It seems once the boundary patch is created as symmetryPlane, no other boundary type can be used in the case file setting(e.g. case/0.1).

But for my problem, I need to solve other equations after solving fluid(N-S related) equations, which requires other boundary conditions other than symmetryPlane for that patch. Meanwhile the fluid parts shall keep using the symmetryPlane BC.

For example,
A patch of a mesh is generated as symmetryPlane in blockMeshDict
And all variables related to fluids equations for that patch are set as symmetryPlane
But for other variables, they can be set as fixedValue or others for that patch.

Thanks
