hi guys,

i have been using ansysfluent for sometime...
but it seems as if openfoam is handy too..

can I generate the geometery and of course the mesh in ansys and then import it to openfoam?

Yes, that's possible.

Have a look at the OpenFOAM tools fluentMeshToFoam and fluent3DMeshToFoam!
