I don't know if this is a known issue, or user error, but I couldn't find it addressed already anywhere.
Having played around enough with OpenFOAM to want to do something more complicated than blockMesh permits, I downloaded and installed Salome. After some struggle, it seems to be working. However, when attempting to create geometry, the only entities that appear in the viewer are points. I've created lines, curves, faces, wires, extrusions, etc... and played around with view options and everything I can think of, but only points appear. What is the issue? Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer assistance. --Sean |

Hi,
just an idea: Are you using Salome within a virtual machine?! I've been observing similar problems while using Salome (and other OpenGL software) in a VirtualBox machine. If that's the case, try to change the video card settings of the VM or run Salome on a real box. Cutter |
