Map runtime the field from an internal patch to a boundary patch

Dear users,
I ' m quite new to OF and I have to deal with this problem: I have a cyclic pipe that I merged with a divergent nozzle like in the figure below. After merging I have for the patch in section B two names, one derived from the nozzle and the other one from the pipe. I would like to map runtime the field in section B (internal patch) to section A. I tried to use cyclic boundary conditions for the pipe but it doesn't work beacuse I think that I can't impose a boundary condition on an internal patch. So I tried in another way: changing the boundary file and putting sectionA { type mappedPatch; nFaces 8; startFace 45368; sampleMode nearestPatchFace; sampleRegion region0; samplePatch sectionB; offsetMode uniform; offset ( 0 0 0.096 ); } but it doesn't work. Any idea of how I can fix my problem? Thank you very much! |
