I used snappyHexMesh to create these two meshes:

1 layer BL:


2 layers BL:



I used featureAngle = 180 in both cases. Could you please tell me which parameter I should change to avoid the problems with 2 layers BL creation?

Hello doodek,
Try first nGrow = 0
If you still have problem, try to relax the mesh quality parameters during layers creation (see Post #3 in this thread).
