Hi all,
What I want is to get a mix of 2 grids the way that, the seconday mesh would be a very well refined mesh ideally prepared for rotorDiskSource model ( 1 cell in deep with a well refined wake region). This secondary mesh could be located in any place of the primary mesh, and with the axis of the rotor in any direction. In this way, it is avoided to generated a diferent mesh for every rotor direction. Imagine that you have a windFarm with 20 wind turbines..... It would be crazy, but rotorDiskSource needs a cellSet conveniently generated. The better the cellSet selection the better the source force assigment over each cell. From the primary mesh, some cells should be deleted an replaced by the cells from the secondary mesh and new cells should be generated in the region between both meshes. If could be a different aproach to overset grids where for every time step a new interface between meshes is generated but secondary grid is kept. My first "intelectual" is here: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tric-stls.html |
