I searched the openFoam wiki http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/NetgenNeutralToFoam and also the nets but couldn't find an awnser:
How do I specify the conversion from pixels to meters in a mesh created with netgen? cheers! |

does anyone have information on this? I looked alot and found some ways to resize the mesh, but no information how one pixel scales to meters after converting a mesh

Hi,
I guess, you know sizes of the mesh in pixels. Convert mesh to OpenFOAM format, run checkMesh utility, it will show you dimensions of the mesh: Code:
... Checking geometry... Overall domain bounding box (x1 y1 z1) (x2 y2 z2) ... |

thank you. I assume the output of the checkMesh utility is in meter?
