As I can recall currently these are the types of motion allowed with dynamicFvMeshDict, with dynamicFvMesh
dynamicInkJetFvMesh dynamicMotionSolverFvMesh dynamicRefineFvMesh movingConeTopoFvMesh multiSolidBodyMotionFvMesh rawTopoChangerFvMesh solidBodyMotionFvMesh staticFvMesh and when I choose solidBodyMotion SDA axisRotationMotion linearMotion multiMotion oscillatingLinearMotion oscillatingRotatingMotion rotatingMotion tabulated6DoFMotion I have a case with rotatingmotion I had some sucess more about that here I would like to know if there is a difference between axisRotationMotion and rotatingMotion I understand these mesh motions are topology-preserving, I would like to know if there are any approaches where topology changes. Again I have a moving body inside a stationary domain (all wall BC). Does anybody have any experience with all or few of the above types of motion allowed by dynamicFvMesh ? Any suggestions? or even wild-guesses some reference documentation (Slides, reports etc) would be great. Last edited by fedvasu; March 10, 2014 at 14:46. Reason: broadening the scope of question |
