Dear Foamers

I would like to write a matlab-script for creating a blockMesh, in order to automatize the meshing.

My problem is, that i donīt have any scripting-experience, so that I donīt really know how to start writing the script, but i understand, how BlockMesh is working and i can simple codes using matlab.

It will be great, if someone could give some tips, post a code or a link for a tutorial to beginners.

Thanks a lot !

I would recommend you to use m4, instead of Matlab to create a dynamic blockMeshDict. In the tutorials folder, search do

$ find -name "*.m4"

to find some examples.
