Hi there,
I'm trying to get a grip on controlling sMH (OpenFOAM 2.1.0) to do what I want and so far I'm failing . My goal was:
You see the edge object, the mesh and the stl geometry in the enclosed picture. Also the surfaceFeatureExtract doesn't fix the messy mesh which is created when the snapping feature is turned on. With which i'm not bothered to much but still if there is a clear reason for this I'm missing it. Last edited by Hekky; September 24, 2013 at 10:59. Reason: forgot some information |

Ah didnt have the nFeaturesnapIter set, this is what did not allow the feature command to "fix" the mess caused by the snapping procedure on the edges.
Fact remains that it is an asymmetrical refinement on a symmetric geometry. This still does not make sense to me. |
