ICEM CFD mesh to another open source finite element solver

hello,
I just wonder can the mesh generated by icem cfd be readable in any other open source finite element solver like openfoam or etc. written in c++ ? Thanks, DW |

yes it should be.
If I remember, you can select your solver in ICEM for the mesh export. So, selecting fluent solver may give you the possibility to use the fluentMeshToFoam or fluent3DMeshToFoam utilities for mesh conversion check also here: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...-openfoam.html
