Hi
I have a triangulated surface in STL format. SnappyHexMesh generates a mesh outside the surface and removes the cells that are located inside like Fig.5-12 in OpenFoam user guide. However since I need to do the simulation inside I want to retain the cells there and remove the ones outside the surface. I wonder if someone knows how to do that. Thanks in advance |

Hi,
edit your system/snappyHexMeshDict file and modify the following line: locationInMesh (-1.0 0.0 3.5 ); The location must be where you want to keep the cells. Regards, Stephane. |
