Dears,
Can I convert a gambit mesh to OF2.1.x and then change the interface boundaries that defined in gambit to the ami bounadries in the boundary dictionary. I want to use it for dynamic mesh in OF. Best Regard, Hossein |

Hi Hossein,
Have you solved that problem you mentioned in the thread? I have the same problem. I generated the mesh for multiply bodies (multiply bodies) using ICEM. The interfaces between neighboring bodies have non matched grid nodes. So I would like to use AMI but the interface itself does not move during the simulations. Do you know how to convert the interface into AMI in openfoam? best regards, H |

never used a gambit mesh before but can't you just modify the boundary file in contant/polymesh and the U,p, etc files in the 0 folder in a text editor?
maybe you can upload these files and i can try? Andreas |
