Hello, I ma installing OpenFOAM on a Gentoo machine and can't seem to get the environment variables right. Gentoo is a little different then what is posted in the installation instructions so I created a file called 99OpenFOAM in my /etc/env.d/ directory and ran env-update. In that file I put:
# /etc/env.d/99OpenFOAM PATH="/programs/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.6/bin" ROOTPATH="/programs/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.6/bin" LDPATH="/programs/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.6/lib" FOAM_INST_DIR="/programs/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.6/etc/bashrc" CC="gcc" CXX="g++" and when I ran 'foamInstallationTest' I get Executing /programs/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.6/bin/foamInstallationTest: Checking basic setup... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FATAL ERROR: OpenFOAM environment not configured. Please refer to the installation section of the README file: <OpenFOAM installation dir>/OpenFOAM-1.6/README to source the OpenFOAM environment. Has anyone here installed OpenFOAM on a gentoo machine before? Thanks Scott |
