suggestions for nfs settings

Hi,

does anyone have suggestions for nfs settings? I have some IO-troubles using openmpi with the 'defaults' settings in fstab. I found as a suggestion the options: bg,noac,intr. What do you think about it?

Hi,

... maybe somone can give an suggestion, how I could adjust the timeout for automatic un-mounting using yast in opensuse 10.3? I am afraid, that I destroy something, when I edit the /etc/sysconfig/autofs by hand without yast ...
