Hi
I've recently installed Ubuntu (hardy) and OpenFOAM on a new Dell laptop. Everything was working fine, except that things were a little large. After some googling, I discovered that I could enable the ATI accelerated graphics driver in Hardware Drivers, reboot and then increase the screen resolution to 1440x900. However, now ParaView does not work properly. The image pops up very briefly and then disappears. Does anyone know if this problem can be fixed? I don't really want to go back to the old screen resolution as it was pretty restrictive. I'm a complete beginner with linux and OpenFOAM so please explain very very clearly Thanks, Tracy. |

Hi
are there no outputs from your console/terminal? If you're not using the terminal, try opening a terminal a type in paraview followed by enter button and post the output. Its hard to do debugging if the is no output to do it on :-) Regards |

ParaView does open. But after I read in the mesh and the p, U information, it won't show the image/mesh when I'm in the higher resolution.
