Hi,
Please help me. i use the foamInstalltest and i didn't have problems, but i can't use the FoamX because the libelf* no found. somthing more, when i try to run runFoamX, command no found before anything, thanks you |

It depends on the linux distribution you are using (if you're using linux, of course).
On Fedora Core 4 and 5, the file /usr/lib/libelf-0.108.so and /usr/lib/libelf.so.1 are owned by the package elfutils-libelf, so you should install it with "yum install elfutils-libelf", if you don't have that library installed. Moreover, FoamX looks for libelf.so.0. The solution is making a symbolic link to libelf.so.1, i.e. "ln -s /usr/lib/libelf.so.1 /usr/lib/libelf.so.0" This works with FC4 and FC5 32bit. And with 64bit too. If you are using another distribution, the solution could be different. Francesco |
