Hello,
I installed OF-1.5 on Fedora 9, successfully rebuild paraFoam and reader according to instructions in the README and then ran the icoFoam tutorial: blockMesh icoFoam paraFoam paraview launches without a problem. I then attempt to read the time directories by selecting in the Properties panel, Update GUI and then Apply. Nothing happens, except I briefly see the name of the PV3 foam reader flash in the lower right bar of the parview window. The time directories never appear. Any hints? Some information: qmake --version QMake version 2.01a Using Qt version 4.3.5 in /usr/lib uname -rs Linux 2.6.25-14.fc9.i686 |

Okay, it seems
http://www.opencfd.co.uk/openfoam/doc/paraFoam.html describes things a bit differently than the cavity tutorial in the UG. I'll give it a try later today. |
