i am using OF1.4 in system OpenSUse10.2,how could I upgrade OF1.4 to OF1.5?

With OpenFOAM it's even better: you don't upgrade. You install in parallel. And then you choose which of the installations you want to use today.

It is easy. Just download and install OF1.5 by following the instruction from OpenFOAM homepage. What Bernhard mean is.. you can have BOTH OF1.4 and OF1.5 at the same time. Just change the .bashrc accordingly.

I think 2 Go after removing setup package.

OpenFoam folder 800 Mo
thirdParty 1,2 Go

If you need space you can move on an other partition or remove :
The doc folder 250 Mo
The tutorial folder 80 Mo

Ok. Is there a nice way of switching between the two entries in .bashrc without manually editing the file?

Since I'm not using the version 1.4.1 any more, which folders can I delete to free some space?
