OpenFOAM dynamic library linking with GUIX.

Hi everyone,
I'm having some trouble getting various versions of OpenFOAM to link properly with dynamic libraries installed on a HPC cluster. The GUIX package manager is used to install the required version of the library, but I would rather use the pre-installed libraries on the cluster. For example, if I build OpenFOAM-5.x and run, I get the error "error while loading shared libraries: libz.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory". zlib is installed on the cluster, but it's under "libz.so", not "libz.so.1" Similarly, if I build OpenFOAM-v2312 and try to run I get "/lib64/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found". libc is installed, but it's under libc-2.28.so How does wmake determine the path of the linked library during build, is it hard-coded? And is there any way to get it to point to the pre-installed libraries instead? Best regards, Vivio |
